Cookie Notice
Last updated: October 4, 2026
1. We set no cookies
NovoltGear does not set cookies. Not for analytics, not for advertising, not for personalisation. If you open your browser's developer tools and look at the cookies stored for this domain, you will not find any that come from us.
This is why you will not see a consent dialog asking you to accept tracking. There is no tracking to accept.
2. What we do store
The cookie banner records a single preference: whether you have dismissed it. That is kept in
your browser's localStorage, not in a cookie, under the key:
novoltgear-cookie-consent — value accepted
It contains no identifier, no timestamp, and nothing about you. It is never transmitted to our servers, because there is no server-side component to receive it. Its only purpose is to stop the banner appearing on every page. Clearing your browser's site data removes it, and the banner will simply reappear.
3. Third-party requests
Serving a page here causes a small number of requests to third parties. For completeness:
- Google Fonts — supplies the typefaces. Google receives your IP address and browser details when the font files are fetched. Google may set its own cookies on its domains; that is governed by Google's policies, not ours.
- Cloudflare — serves the site and provides security filtering. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary security cookies on its own infrastructure to distinguish legitimate visitors from bots.
4. Cookies set by brands you visit
When you click a product link, you leave this site and arrive at a brand's website. That site will very likely set its own cookies, including cookies used to attribute a sale to an affiliate link. Those cookies are set by the brand or its network, on their domain, under their cookie policy — and only after you have chosen to click.
We have no control over them and no access to the data they collect. If you want to avoid them, do not follow the outbound links, or use your browser's tracking-protection settings.
5. Managing storage in your browser
All major browsers let you view and delete site data. Deleting it for this site removes the one stored preference and nothing else, because there is nothing else. Blocking third-party requests entirely will not break the site; the fonts will simply fall back to your system typefaces.
6. Changes
If we ever introduce something that sets cookies — analytics, for example — this notice and the privacy policy will be updated before it goes live, and the date at the top of this page will change.
